Here's the next revision of the quick reference for the 4500.  This is not a step-by-step how to, you'll need to use the manual to
understand some things and there are most likely some errors.

LS=Left Soft RS=Right Soft R=Ring L=Left side long key
Options in "()" can be selected via up and down with beep, beep, boop feedback.

Manner mode - Hold * or bottom of L (lid closed)
Keypad Lock - Hold #
Keypad Unlock - RS Your 4 digit PIN (Default is Last 4 digits of phone
number)
Redial - Send Send
Call back last received call - LS 22 Send
Call back last missed call - LS 23 Send
Erase dialed calls - LS 2411
Erase Received calls - LS 2421
Erase missed calls - LS 2431
While in missed calls - RS 51 will erase all
* Does not work from the talking missed calls
* RS 51 also works in Dialed and Received calls
Ringer contact - RS select Contact OK Up 4 times LS R LS
Speed Dial - RS 15 SD# OK Contact OK OK OK
Speed Dial (multiple) - RS 15 SD# OK Contact OK home/mobile/office OK OK

Add contact - Enter phone number then LS, follow prompts
Do not put "1" in front of area codes
The # key is a space and * key is shift
Tap CLR key to erase last character, hold CLR to start over

To edit a contact- RS (contacts),arrow to the contact
you want to change LS (edit).Select to edit hit OK,Hit clear to erase
Type in new info hit OK LS to save.
Contact edit menu starts at the fisrt #. 
Up for name,
Down 
1 =new #,The following down #'s will increase for every # added.
2 = email
3 = Group
4 = ringer

Record memo - LS 72 LS
Play last memo - LS 72 OK LS
Start/Stop memo playback - LS
Pause/Resume memo - RS (while memo is playing)

Press LS to save alarm 
After OK on time the Occurrence is highlighted

When you press LS to stop recording the Occurrence will be highlighted.

OnTime (OnTime 5Min 10min 1hr 1day 2days none)
The OnTime is used to notify you before the event.

The First OK opens the appointment list for this day.
The Second OK plays the voice memo 
Left / Right to move through all appointments for this date while playing
Tomorrow's appointments - LS 82 Right OK OK
Appointment week from Today - LS 82 Down OK OK
Edit appointment - LS while on the appointment
Erase appointment - RS 21 on appointment 
Erase all appointments on selected date - RS 31

Ringers
Caller ID - LS 9111 then select (up/down), save with OK
No Caller ID - LS 9112 then select (up/down), save with OK
Restrict (caller ID Blocked by caller)- LS 9113 then select (up/down),  save with OK
Key Tone length (vx4500) - LS 912 (Normal, Long) OK
Key Tone or speech (vx4650) - LS 912 (beep, english, spanish) OK

Volumes
